Storage & Freshness
- Store in a dry, dark, well-ventilated space with ambient airflow (15°C – 22°C).
- Keep off direct concrete floors by placing sacks on wooden pallets or hanging mesh.
- Avoid airtight plastic containers or damp environments which induce sprouting.
- Do not store directly beside raw potatoes as moisture exchange accelerates spoiling.

Cultivation, Soil Care & Packhouse Dispatch
Field-lifted at 80% foliage neck-fall, sun-cured on raised aerated shade racks for 14 days to seal protective tunic. All crops harvested at Waingo Farm are monitored for optimal sugar-to-acid brix ratios and dry-matter density, washed in potable borehole water, and graded to Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS) fresh produce benchmarks.
Product & Harvest Details
Grown under drip irrigation and sun-cured on the farm before grading. Supplied loose for retail or in 50kg net bags for hotels, markets, and wholesale distributors.
